CURRENT ISSUES OF CONSTRUCTION PROJECT MANAGEMENT IN THE CONTEXT OF IMPLEMENTATION OF BIM TECHNOLOGIES

Abstract

Construction project management is one of the most modern and important branches of project management today. Currently, the implementation and modernization of effective innovation programs in the mentioned sector are in great demand, thanks to which risks are reduced, costs are reduced, and the success rate is improved. Accordingly, the introduction of building information modeling (BIM) technologies in construction management today is more than justified, which greatly solves the existing problems in the field and outlines the real opportunities for development.

The problems of the BIM system are studied and researched; the expediency and necessity of introducing the latter’s technologies and capabilities in the context of the modernization of construction project management are analyzed and scientifically justified; a fundamental scientific assessment is given of the importance and key role of that system, not only modern but also to meet future challenges in a dignified way. Particularly theoretical and practical problems, concepts, values, terminological and epistemological aspects of project management are analyzed, the factors and conditions influencing its life cycle and priorities determined by them are clarified and justified, and the multi-vector value theory of the considered problems is studied and analyzed with an emphasis on group approaches to the construction project management process and research and evaluation of the results of implementing and operating BIM technologies.
